MrWork
CLIENT - ASSIGNMENT - GOAL
MrWork is a fast growing company in the recruitment sector that helps organizations find the right candidates. What makes MrWork unique is that they have developed special software that completely takes over the recruitment process using AI. This software is sold to clients who want to hire faster, more efficiently, and more professionally, making the process from job posting to placement smoother. The company has a strong brand identity that is consistently applied across all their communication.
The assignment was to design a social post for platforms like Instagram and LinkedIn that aligned with a recent MrWork blog: “7 Tips for Recruitment Success During the January Peak”. The blog focuses on the challenges organizations face during this busy period and provides concrete tips to optimize their recruitment process. The goal was to present this content in a visually appealing way, so that the target audience immediately understands and appreciates the tips.
In addition, the social post needed to reinforce the brand identity of MrWork. It was important that the designs would be both professional and recognizable, in line with the company’s existing image. By applying the right colors, typography, and composition, the post had to both capture attention and communicate the message clearly, ensuring that the January peak recruitment tips were effectively shared with the audience.
CHALLENGES - MY ROLE - PROCESS
A primary challenge was translating the seven recruitment tips from the blog into a visually appealing social post. The tips needed to be presented clearly and concisely without making the post feel cluttered or overwhelming. At the same time, the design had to capture attention in a busy LinkedIn and Instagram feed, where users scroll quickly and often spend only a few seconds on a post.
My role was Graphic Designer. While designing this post I worked closely with MrWork their existing brand book to follow the correct visual guidelines and tone of voice. I explored different color contrasts, compositions, and typography to find a balance between recognizability, professionalism, and visual impact. Additionally, I incorporated both human photography and graphic elements to ensure the post felt both approachable and informative.
The process involved multiple iterations: first, concepts with soft pastel colors were tested to create a calm and friendly look, then stronger colors and higher contrasts were introduced to generate more urgency and attention. I also experimented with dynamic compositions and call-to-actions to encourage users to swipe through the carousel and fully engage with all the tips. In this way, the content became interactive, clear, and visually strong, aligning perfectly with MrWork their professional character.
RESULTS - IMPACT - REFLECTION
The result was a social post that was sleek, powerful, and fully aligned with the brand identity of MrWork. The use of deep blue tones and high contrasts makes the post immediately stand out in the feed, while the visual layout presents the tips clearly and understandably. The combination of human photography and minimalist graphic elements creates a balance between emotion and information, making the content both engaging and professional.
The impact of the post is clear: the tips are quickly and easily consumed by the target audience, while also strengthening the brand recognition as a knowledgeable and reliable partner in recruitment. The carousel structure guides viewers logically through all seven tips, from identifying problems to actionable solutions, making the post both informative and motivating.
Reflecting on this project highlights the importance of combining brand consistency, visual strength, and clear content. Through the iterative process of testing colors, compositions, and graphic elements, I was able to deliver a social post that clearly communicates MrWork their message while providing real value to the audience. This project underscores how an effective visual translation of content contributes to engagement and impactful communication.
